Walking
If you are staying in Isabel II, start by heading towards the main road, PR-200. Walk east until you reach the intersection with PR-201. Turn left onto PR-201 and follow the road for about 1.5 miles. You'll then come to a fork in the road; take the right fork to stay on PR-201. Continue for another mile until you see the sign for Black Sand Beach on your left. Follow the trail until you reach the beach.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle in Isabel II. Start on PR-200 heading east, then turn left onto PR-201. Cycle straight for approximately 1.5 miles, then take the right fork at the intersection. Continue cycling for another mile until you see the sign for Black Sand Beach. Park your bicycle at the designated area and follow the trail to the beach.
Taxi
From any location in Vieques, you can call a local taxi service or hail one on the street. Inform the driver you want to go to Black Sand Beach, located near 3GW5+9GC, Unnamed Road. The taxi will take you directly to the beach entrance. Be sure to confirm the return fare with the driver before getting out.
Public Transportation
Check the local bus schedule; buses may not run frequently, but they can take you close to Black Sand Beach. Board the bus heading towards the southern part of the island and ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Black Sand Beach. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk following the signs toward the beach.
