Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the center of Mayagüez. Head towards Avenida Hostos and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle Ramón Emeterio Betances. Turn right onto Calle Ramón Emeterio Betances, and then make a left onto Calle Méndez Vigo. From there, continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Plaza Cristóbal Colón will be located directly in front of you at the center of the roundabout. Parking is available nearby, but be sure to check for any parking fees that may apply.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  To reach Plaza Cristóbal Colón using public transportation, look for the local bus service in Mayagüez. Board a bus that has a stop near Avenida Hostos. Once you get off, walk towards Calle Ramón Emeterio Betances, then turn left onto Calle Méndez Vigo. Continue straight to the roundabout where Plaza Cristóbal Colón is located. The bus fare is generally around $1.50, so be prepared with cash or a prepaid card.

• Walking

  If you are already near the central area of Mayagüez, you can easily walk to Plaza Cristóbal Colón. Simply head towards Avenida Hostos, then turn right onto Calle Ramón Emeterio Betances. Keep walking straight until you reach Calle Méndez Vigo and turn left. Continue walking straight until you reach the roundabout where Plaza Cristóbal Colón is situated. This walk should take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on your starting point.
