From Al Thakira Mangroves, head north on Al Thakira Road (Qatar Route 5) for about 10 km. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Al Khor Coastal Road (Qatar Route 55). Take a right turn onto Al Khor Coastal Road. After approximately 5 km, you will see a sign for Zhakhira Natural Reserve. Follow the signs and take the exit towards the reserve. There is no entry fee for the reserve, and ample parking is available at the site.

Start at Al Thakira Mangroves and walk to the nearest bus stop. Take bus number 77 heading towards Al Khor. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the Al Khor bus terminal. From there, you will need to take a taxi to Zhakhira Natural Reserve, which is approximately a 10-minute drive away. Taxi fares in Qatar vary, but expect to pay around 20-30 QAR for the ride.
