Getting There

• Public Bus

  If you are in central Doha, you can take the public bus service. Look for bus number 777, which connects various parts of the city with the Katara Cultural Village. Board the bus at a nearby bus stop. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you reach the Katara Cultural Village stop, disembark and follow the signs to the Cultural Village. Al Thuraya Planetarium is located in Building 41 within the village.

• Metro

  Start at the nearest metro station, either Corniche or Katara. If you are at Corniche, take the Red Line towards Al Qassar and change at the next station to the Gold Line, heading towards Katara. Once you arrive at the Katara station, exit and follow the signs to Katara Cultural Village. Al Thuraya Planetarium is in Building 41. The total travel time should be around 25-30 minutes.

• Walking

  If you are close enough to Katara Cultural Village, walking can be a pleasant option. From the nearest landmark, like The Pearl-Qatar, head towards the coast and follow the signs directing you to Katara. The walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Katara, look for Building 41 to find Al Thuraya Planetarium.

• Taxi or Ride-Hailing Service

  You can easily find a taxi or use a ride-hailing app like Uber or Careem. Provide the driver with the address 'Katara Cultural Village, Building 41'. The journey will take around 15-20 minutes, depending on your starting location in Doha. This is a convenient option if you are traveling with a group or have luggage.
