Discovering Art and History at the Fire Station Museum

Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from anywhere within Katara Cultural Village, head towards the main exit of the village. Once you reach the main road, turn left onto the Corniche Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Mohammed Bin Thani Street. Turn right onto Mohammed Bin Thani Street and follow the road until you see the Fire Station Museum on your right. There is parking available near the museum, which may be subject to parking fees depending on the time of day.

• Public Transportation

  To reach the Fire Station Museum via public transport, start at the nearest bus stop in Katara Cultural Village. You can take a bus heading towards the city center. Get off at the stop closest to Mohammed Bin Thani Street. From there, you can either walk approximately 10-15 minutes to the museum, or you may find a taxi or ride-sharing service available at the bus stop for a more direct route. The cost for the bus is usually minimal, while a taxi fare could range from QAR 15-25 depending on traffic.

• Walking

  If you are already in Katara Cultural Village, walking to the Fire Station Museum is also an option. Simply exit the village through the main entrance and head towards the Corniche Road. After reaching Corniche Road, turn right and walk until you reach the intersection with Mohammed Bin Thani Street. Cross the road and continue walking straight until you arrive at the Fire Station Museum. The walk will take approximately 30 minutes, so wear comfortable shoes.
