    From the Block Island Ferry terminal, exit onto Water Street and head southeast. Continue walking straight for about 0.2 miles until you reach the intersection with Chapel Street. Turn left onto Chapel Street and follow it until it intersects with Spring Street. Continue on Spring Street for about 0.5 miles, then turn right onto Ocean Avenue. Follow Ocean Avenue until you reach the waterfront, where you will see the signs directing you towards the ferry to Newport. Once at the ferry terminal, board the ferry to Newport, which operates regularly. Upon arrival at the Newport terminal, exit the ferry and walk along America’s Cup Avenue towards Bowens Wharf. Continue for about 0.3 miles, and you will see 5 Bowens Wharf on your right.

    Rent a bike from one of the rental shops near the ferry terminal. Once you have your bike, head out of the terminal and take Water Street southeast. After about 0.2 miles, turn left onto Chapel Street. Bicycle along Chapel Street until you reach Spring Street, and turn right. Continue biking down Spring Street for about 0.5 miles, then make a right onto Ocean Avenue. Follow Ocean Avenue along the waterfront until you reach the ferry terminal for Newport. Board the ferry to Newport, and once you arrive, bike along America’s Cup Avenue towards Bowens Wharf. After about 0.3 miles, you will arrive at 5 Bowens Wharf.
