    From the Old Harbor area, head north on Water Street until you reach the intersection with High Street. Turn left onto High Street and continue walking until you reach the ferry terminal. Take the ferry to Newport, which takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Newport, walk east on America’s Cup Avenue until you reach the intersection with Washington Street. Turn left onto Washington Street, and you will find the Hunter House at 54 Washington St on your right.

    Start from the Old Harbor area and rent a bike from one of the local rental shops. Cycle north on Water Street until you reach the intersection with High Street, then turn left onto High Street. Continue biking straight until you arrive at the ferry terminal. Take the ferry to Newport and once you arrive, continue biking east on America’s Cup Avenue. Turn left onto Washington Street, and the Hunter House will be on your right at 54 Washington St.

  • Public Transport

    While Block Island does not have a public bus system, you can take a ferry from Old Harbor to Newport. Walk to the ferry terminal from your accommodation in the Old Harbor area and board the ferry to Newport.
