Upon arrival at the Newport terminal, you will need to walk to the Rose Island Lighthouse. Exit the terminal, head east on America’s Cup Ave, and continue onto Washington St. After about 1 mile, you will reach the entrance to the Rose Island Lighthouse, located at 1 Washington St.

    From Block Island, you can arrange for a water taxi service that will take you directly to Rose Island. Contact local water taxi services in advance to schedule a pickup. They typically depart from the Old Harbor area. Once you board the taxi, enjoy the scenic ride which should take around 20-30 minutes.
