Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the Block Island Ferry terminal in Old Harbor. Exit the terminal and head uphill on Water Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Spring Street. Turn left onto Spring Street. Follow Spring Street until you reach the intersection with Chapel Street. Turn right onto Chapel Street, which will lead you towards the center of the island. As you walk, you will pass several shops and restaurants. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Mohegan Trail. Turn left onto Mohegan Trail and walk for about 1.5 miles. You will see the South East Lighthouse on your left. The lighthouse is located at 122 Mohegan Trail. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!

    If you have a bike rental, start at the Block Island Ferry terminal in Old Harbor. Head uphill on Water Street, then take a left onto Spring Street.
