Car
From your location in Burlingame State Park, head west on Burlingame State Park Road. Continue straight to merge onto RI-1 N toward Providence. Stay on RI-1 N for approximately 18 miles. Take exit 9 for RI-138 E toward Jamestown/Newport. Merge onto RI-138 E and continue for about 8 miles. As you approach Newport, follow signs for Newport Bridge/US-1 S. After crossing the bridge, continue onto Ocean Ave. You will reach Castle Hill Lighthouse located at 800-870 Ocean Ave, Newport, RI 02840.
Public Transportation
From Burlingame State Park, you can catch the RIPTA bus Route 14 from the nearest bus stop on Kingstown Road. Ride the bus towards Newport and get off at the Newport Gateway Center. From there, transfer to the Route 60 bus towards Ocean Drive. Get off at the stop nearest to Castle Hill Lighthouse, which is close to 800-870 Ocean Ave, Newport, RI 02840. Be sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time for exact times and connections.
