Take exit 4 for Route 138 East towards Jamestown/Newport. Continue on Route 138 until you reach the intersection with Route 1 South. Follow Route 1 South for approximately 12 miles. Take the exit for Route 1A South towards Watch Hill. Follow Route 1A for about 5 miles until you reach the area of Fort Mansfield, located at 8448+H5, Westerly, RI 02891. Please note, parking may be limited near the location.

    To reach Fort Mansfield via public transportation, take the RIPTA bus #67 from Providence to Westerly. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Get off at the Westerly station.
