If you are driving, begin your journey from the center of Bristol, RI. Head southeast on State Street toward Thames Street. Continue onto the Bristol-Warren Bike Path for approximately 1.5 miles. As you approach Mount Hope Bridge, follow signs directing you onto Mt Hope Bridge Road. The bridge is located at 23 Mt Hope Brg, Bristol, RI 02809. Parking is available nearby, but be mindful of any parking fees that may apply.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, you can take the RIPTA bus #60 from Providence to Bristol. The bus will drop you off at the Bristol Town Common. From there, it is about a 1.5-mile walk to Mount Hope Bridge. Head south on Hope Street and then take a left onto Mt Hope Bridge Road. Be sure to check the RIPTA schedule for the latest bus times. There is a small fare for the bus, typically around $2.00.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, the Bristol-Warren Bike Path is a scenic route that takes you directly to Mount Hope Bridge. You can rent a bike from various local shops in Bristol.
