From the center of East Greenwich, start at the East Greenwich Town Hall located at 125 Main St. Head southeast on Main St toward Duke St. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Greenwich Ave. Turn right onto Greenwich Ave and walk for about 0.5 miles. You will come to the intersection with Route 1 (Post Rd). Cross Route 1 carefully and continue straight onto Division St. After a short walk, you will arrive at a bus stop for the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) bus line 14 heading toward Newport. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the stop at Washington St & Thames St in Newport. From there, walk towards Washington St, and you will find Battery St Waterfront Public Access Point at 107 Washington St, Newport, RI 02840.
