When you reach the intersection with Division Street, turn left onto Division Street (RI-4). Continue on RI-4 for approximately 1 mile, then take the exit for RI-1A toward East Greenwich/Warwick. Follow the signs to Chepiwanoxet Point, which will be on your right. There is no entrance fee to access the point.

    To reach Chepiwanoxet Point using public transportation, take the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) bus #66 from Providence to East Greenwich. Get off at the Main Street stop in East Greenwich. From there, you can either walk (about 1.5 miles) or use a rideshare service to reach Chepiwanoxet Point. Walking directions: head south on Main Street (RI-1A), turn left onto Division Street (RI-4), and continue as described above. Note that the bus fare is $2.00.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer biking, follow the same route as for driving by starting in East Greenwich. You can ride along Main Street (RI-1A) and Division Street (RI-4) directly to Chepiwanoxet Point. The ride is about 1.5 miles from the center of East Greenwich. Ensure you have a bike lock as there are no bike racks at the point.
