From Narragansett Beach, head north on Ocean Road (RI-1A) towards Narragansett. Continue straight for about 4 miles until you reach the intersection with Westmoreland Street. Turn left onto Westmoreland Street and continue until you reach the traffic circle. Take the second exit onto RI-138 W. After approximately 1.5 miles, take the exit towards Jamestown. Merge onto RI-138 W and continue for about 5 miles. Follow the signs for Beavertail State Park, turning onto Beavertail Road. The park entrance will be on your right. Parking fees may apply, typically around $10 for day-use parking.

Public Transportation
To reach Beavertail State Park from Narragansett Beach using public transportation, first take the RIPTA bus #14 (Jamestown) from the Narragansett Town Hall bus stop. The ride will take approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the Jamestown Town Hall stop. From there, you will need to walk about 1.5 miles to the entrance of Beavertail State Park. Head northwest on Narragansett Avenue, then turn right onto Beavertail Road. Be aware that there may be limited bus service, so check the RIPTA schedule for the latest times. Also, consider that walking may be necessary, so wear comfortable shoes.
