Walking
If you are in Narragansett, you can take the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) bus Route 66 from Narragansett to South Kingstown. Board the bus at the nearest stop to your location. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop at Wakefield. From there, transfer to Route 1 (also known as the 1A) towards Providence. Ride this bus for about 30 minutes, and get off at the Westminster St & Empire St stop. Walk approximately 0.4 miles north on Westminster St, then turn left onto Benefit St. The Old State House will be on your right at 150 Benefit St.
Biking
If you're up for biking, you can rent a bike from a local rental shop in Narragansett. Head northwest on Narragansett Ave towards South Kingstown, then take the bike path that leads to the South County Bike Path. Follow the path until it ends in Wakefield, then turn onto Route 1 and continue cycling towards Providence. Once in Providence, navigate towards Benefit St by following the signs for downtown. The Old State House is located at 150 Benefit St, which you should find easily as you approach the area.
Public Transit
From any hotel or location in Narragansett, locate the nearest RIPTA bus stop. You will want to take the Route 66 bus towards Wakefield. After about 30 minutes, transfer at the Wakefield stop to Route 1 towards Providence. After approximately 30 more minutes, disembark at the Westminster St & Empire St stop. Walk north on Westminster St for about 0.4 miles, then turn left onto Benefit St to reach the Old State House at 150 Benefit St.
