Once on Bellevue Avenue, look for the entrance to The Elms which is well marked. There is parking available on-site, but it may incur a fee, so be prepared with cash or a credit card.
Public Transportation
To reach The Elms via public transport, check for the local bus service, which has stops near Bellevue Avenue. You can take the 'Newport Bus Line' to the nearest stop, which is a short walk from The Elms. Make sure to check the current schedule and routes on the Newport Transit website as they can vary. The fare for the bus is typically around $2.00. After getting off at the closest stop, walk east toward Bellevue Avenue and follow the signs to The Elms.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity, you can walk to The Elms from nearby attractions. From the Newport Cliff Walk, it is approximately a 15-minute walk. Head north on the Cliff Walk, exit at Narragansett Avenue, and take a right onto Bellevue Avenue. The Elms will be on your left. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the pathways can be uneven.
