If you're driving from Newport, RI, start by heading west on US-138 W. Continue on US-138 W until you reach I-95 N. Merge onto I-95 N and take exit 6 for MA-24 N toward Brockton. Continue on MA-24 N for about 12 miles, then take exit 13 for MA-6 E toward Fall River. This will lead you to MA-79 S. Follow MA-79 S, which will turn into I-195 E. Take exit 6 toward Somerset. Turn left onto County St and then right onto Riverside Ave. You will find the boat launch to access Borden Flats Lighthouse.
Public Transportation
If you're relying on public transportation, take the South Coast Rail from Boston or Providence to Fall River. From the Fall River station, use a taxi or rideshare service to get to the Riverside Avenue boat launch. Ensure to check the schedules ahead of time, as the train service may vary. The taxi or rideshare to the launch will take approximately 15-20 minutes.
