From Newport, take RI-138 W towards Jamestown. Continue for about 8 miles until you reach the Newport Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue onto RI-138 W. Take the exit toward Jamestown and follow signs for Fort Wetherill Rd. Once on Fort Wetherill Rd, continue until you reach Clingstone, which is located on a small island in Narragansett Bay. There is no direct parking at Clingstone, so you may need to park at Fort Wetherill State Park and walk to the shoreline to view the house.

Take the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) bus #60 from Newport to Jamestown. The bus will take you to the Jamestown Town Center.
