Continue on Route 138 E until you reach the intersection with Route 214 (West Main Road). Turn left onto West Main Road, which will turn into Farewell Street as you enter Newport. Follow Farewell Street until you reach Washington Street. Turn right onto Washington Street, and Hunter House will be on your left at 54 Washington St, Newport, RI 02840. There is limited street parking in the area, so plan accordingly.
Public Transportation
If you prefer to use public transportation, check the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) for bus routes that service Newport. The most convenient route is the 60 bus which connects Providence to Newport. Once in Newport, get off at the bus stop near the intersection of Farewell Street and Washington Street. From there, it is a short walk to Hunter House.
