    Car

    If you're driving from Providence, take I-95 S from downtown Providence. Continue on I-95 S for about 30 miles. Take exit 3A to merge onto RI-4 S toward Narragansett. After about 7 miles, merge onto US-1 S and follow signs for Newport. Once on Aquidneck Island, continue straight onto the Newport Bridge. After crossing the bridge, follow the signs to Newport. Once in Newport, take a left onto Bellevue Avenue. Rough Point will be on your right at 680 Bellevue Ave. Parking is available on-site, but be aware that there may be a fee depending on the time of year.

    Public Transportation

    From downtown Providence, you can take the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) bus #60 toward Newport. The fare is $2.00 and you can purchase tickets at ticket vending machines or from the bus driver. The bus ride takes approximately 1 hour. When you arrive in Newport, you will need to transfer to the Newport Area Transit (NAT) bus #67, which will take you to Bellevue Avenue.
