If you're driving, head towards Newport on Route 1 South. Once you reach the Newport area, take the exit for Memorial Blvd (Route 138) and follow it into the city. Continue on Memorial Blvd until you reach America's Cup Avenue. Turn left onto America's Cup Avenue, and then take a right onto Fort Adams Drive. Follow Fort Adams Drive until you see the entrance to Fort Adams State Park on your right at 80 Fort Adams Drive.

For those using public transportation, start by taking the RIPTA bus number 60 from any South County location heading to Newport. The bus will take you towards the downtown area. Once you arrive at the Newport Gateway Center (the main bus terminal), transfer to the Newport Shuttle service. Take the shuttle that goes to Fort Adams State Park. The shuttle will drop you off right at the entrance of the park located at 80 Fort Adams Drive.
