Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the main entrance of Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuge. Head south on 1A (also known as South County Trail) and continue for about 3 miles. Turn right onto Ocean Road (RI-108) and follow this road for approximately 2 miles. You will find the Black Point Trailhead located at 655 Ocean Rd, Narragansett, RI 02882, which will be on your left. There is no parking fee for accessing the trailhead.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) bus route 14 from Narragansett to the stop closest to Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuge. From the bus stop, it's about a 20-minute walk south along South County Trail (1A) to reach Ocean Road (RI-108). Once you reach Ocean Road, head right and walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Black Point Trailhead at 655 Ocean Rd. Be sure to check the RIPTA schedule in advance for bus times.
