    From Warwick, head to the nearest bus stop on Post Rd. Take the RIPTA Route 14 bus towards Jamestown. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Jamestown Town Hall' stop. From there, walk north on Narragansett Ave for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Fort Wetherill Rd. Turn left onto Fort Wetherill Rd and continue walking for about 0.3 miles. Fort Wetherill State Park will be on your right.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from a local rental shop in Warwick. Start your journey by heading south on Post Rd, then take the bike path that runs parallel to the road. Continue straight towards Jamestown. After about 3 miles, you will reach the bridge leading to Jamestown. Cross the bridge and follow the bike path along Narragansett Ave. Turn left onto Fort Wetherill Rd and continue for another 0.3 miles to reach Fort Wetherill State Park.

    If you're up for a walk, start at the Warwick Public Library on Sandy Lane. Walk east on Sandy Lane until you reach Post Rd. Turn right and walk south on Post Rd. After about 1 mile, you'll see the bus stop for the RIPTA Route 14 bus. Alternatively, continue walking on Post Rd until you reach the intersection with Narragansett Ave. Turn left on Narragansett Ave and walk straight for about 1 mile, then turn left onto Fort Wetherill Rd. The park will be on your right.
