Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of East Greenwich, head east towards Main St. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with South County Trail (Route 2). Turn left onto South County Trail and continue walking north. After approximately 1.5 miles, you will reach the intersection with I-95. Cross over the bridge and continue straight onto the pedestrian path that leads into Providence. Follow the path until you reach S Main St. Memorial Park will be on your right.

    Locate the nearest bus stop for the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) services. Take Bus Route 66 towards Providence. After about a 25-minute ride, disembark at the stop closest to S Main St. Walk south along S Main St for a few minutes until you reach Memorial Park.

    Rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in East Greenwich. Start by heading east on Main St, then turn left onto South County Trail (Route 2). Follow this route north for about 1.5 miles.
