If you're driving from the town center of Westerly, head south on High Street towards the intersection with Granite Street. Continue straight onto the US-1 S highway. After about 3 miles, take the exit towards Watch Hill. Continue on Watch Hill Road for approximately 2 miles, then turn left onto Bay Street. Follow Bay Street until you reach the parking area near Fort Mansfield, which is located at 8448+H5, Westerly, RI 02891. Parking may be limited, so arrive early.

Start your journey by taking the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) bus route 66 from the Westerly Train Station. Make sure to check the current schedule for the last bus times. Get off at the Stop at Watch Hill and then walk approximately 1.5 miles south along Watch Hill Road. As you approach Bay Street, Fort Mansfield will be on your right. Note that there may not be sidewalks along this route, so be cautious while walking.
