Car

From West Bay, take Route 1 South towards Newport. Continue on Route 1 until you reach the intersection with Route 138. Take the exit for Route 138 East. Follow Route 138 until you cross the Newport Bridge (there is a toll of $4.00 for cars). After crossing the bridge, continue onto Route 1A (Memorial Blvd) which will lead you into Newport. Follow Memorial Blvd until you reach Bellevue Avenue. Turn left onto Bellevue Ave. Rough Point is located at 680 Bellevue Ave, Newport, RI 02840. Look for parking along Bellevue Ave as parking at the museum may be limited.
Public Transportation (Bus)

If you're using public transportation, take the RIPTA bus Route 60 from anywhere in West Bay to Newport. The bus will take you directly to Newport. Get off at the stop closest to Bellevue Avenue. From there, it’s about a 15-20 minute walk to Rough Point.
