Getting There

• Public Bus

  From the center of Westerly, walk to the nearest bus stop on Main Street. Catch the RIPTA Route 68 bus heading towards Newport. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes, and get off at the East Ferry Stop in Jamestown. Once you disembark, walk towards Beavertail Road and continue straight for about 0.7 miles until you reach the Beavertail Lighthouse Museum.

• Bicycle

  If you're up for a bike ride, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Westerly. Start at the intersection of Main Street and High Street, head north on High Street until you reach Route 1. Turn left onto Route 1 and follow it for approximately 2 miles. Then, take a right onto North Road which will lead you towards Jamestown. Follow the signs for Beavertail Road, and you'll find the lighthouse after about an additional 3 miles.

• Walking

  For a more scenic route, you can walk from downtown Westerly. Start on Main Street and head east towards the waterfront. Follow the waterfront path along the Pawcatuck River. Cross the bridge into Jamestown, then continue straight onto Jamestown Road. From there, take a left onto Beavertail Road and walk for about 1.5 miles until you reach the Beavertail Lighthouse Museum.
