Take the RIPTA Bus #64 from downtown Westerly. Board the bus at the Westerly Train Station stop. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop at East Ferry in Jamestown. From there, walk about 0.5 miles east along East Ferry Road until you reach Fort Wetherill Road. Turn left onto Fort Wetherill Road, and the park entrance will be ahead on your left.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Westerly. Start at the intersection of Main Street and Franklin Street. Head west on Main Street and continue onto Route 1. Follow Route 1 north for approximately 3 miles until you reach the junction with Route 138. Turn left onto Route 138 and continue until you reach the exit for Jamestown. Follow signs to Fort Wetherill State Park, which will be on your right after about 1.5 miles.

If you prefer to walk, start your journey from downtown Westerly. Head north on High Street until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Cross Route 1 and continue walking along the path that leads towards Jamestown. Follow the path for about 2.5 miles until you reach East Ferry in Jamestown. From there, walk east on East Ferry Road for about 0.5 miles, turn left onto Fort Wetherill Road, and you will see the entrance of Fort Wetherill State Park.
