From the center of Westerly, head east on Main Street towards Canal Street. Continue straight for about 0.6 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 1 (Post Road). Cross the street and catch the RITBA bus (Route 67) towards Newport. Ride for approximately 15-20 minutes until you reach the stop at Bellevue Avenue. Once you get off, walk north on Bellevue Avenue for about 0.3 miles. The Redwood Library and Athenaeum will be on your right at 50 Bellevue Ave.

Start in downtown Westerly and take the bike path that runs along the Pawcatuck River towards Route 1. Follow the path for about 2.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 1. At Route 1, turn left and continue cycling for about 1.5 miles until you reach the exit for Newport. After exiting, take a right onto Bellevue Avenue and bike for approximately 0.5 miles. The Redwood Library and Athenaeum will be on your left at 50 Bellevue Ave.
