From Westerly, walk to the nearest bus stop on Post Road and catch the RIPTA Route 67 bus heading towards Newport. The bus will take you directly to Newport. Make sure to check the schedule for the next available departure. Once you arrive in Newport, disembark at the Newport Visitor Center stop. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to Storer Park. Head east on America's Cup Avenue, then turn left onto Thames Street. Continue until you reach the intersection with Memorial Boulevard, then turn right. Storer Park will be on your left.
Bicycle
If you're up for a bike ride, you can rent a bicycle in Westerly. Start by heading south on Canal Street towards the bike path that runs along the Pawcatuck River. Continue on the bike path until you reach the Rhode Island border. Follow the bike path signs towards Newport. Once you enter Newport, follow the signs to the waterfront, aiming towards America's Cup Avenue. From there, navigate to Storer Park by taking Thames Street and then Memorial Boulevard. The park will be on your left.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, start at the center of Westerly. Head south on High Street until you reach Main Street. Turn left on Main Street and continue until you reach the Pawcatuck River. Follow the river path towards the east; this will eventually lead you to the bridge into Newport. Once across the bridge, continue straight on Thames Street, and then turn right on Memorial Boulevard. Storer Park will be on your left shortly after.
