Getting There

  • Car

    From Yawgoo Valley Ski Area & Water Park, head east on Yawgoo Valley Rd toward Route 102. Turn left onto Route 102 South and continue for about 3.5 miles. Take the exit toward North Kingstown/Route 1 South. Merge onto Route 1 South and continue for about 7 miles. Take exit 6 for Post Rd/Route 1A. At the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto Post Rd. Biomes Marine Biology Center will be on your right at 6640 Post Rd after approximately 0.9 miles.

    To reach Biomes Marine Biology Center via public transportation, you will need to take a bus from the Yawgoo Valley area to North Kingstown. First, catch the RIPTA bus Route 66 from the nearest stop to Yawgoo Valley Ski Area. This bus travels towards Wickford Junction. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Wickford Junction train station. From there, transfer to the RIPTA Route 15 bus which will take you directly to Post Rd. Get off at the stop near 6640 Post Rd.
