From Alba Iulia, take the DN1 road heading south toward Sebeș. After about 30 km, you will merge onto DN7. Continue for about 15 km until you reach the junction for DJ705A. Turn onto DJ705A and follow the signs for Sarmizegetusa Regia. The site is located approximately 15 km along DJ705A. There is a parking area available near the entrance, but be aware that parking fees may apply.

Start at Alba Iulia's central bus station (Autogara Alba Iulia). Take a bus heading toward Hațeg or Sarmizegetusa, which should be indicated on the bus schedule. The trip takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the nearest stop, you will need to walk approximately 3 km to the entrance of Sarmizegetusa Regia. Make sure to confirm the bus schedule in advance, as it may vary.
