Car
If you are driving from Campeni, take DN75 towards Turda. After approximately 15 km, turn onto DJ107M towards Bistra. Continue on this road for about 20 km until you reach the village of Bistra. From Bistra, follow the signs towards the Trascău Mountains, which will lead you directly to the base of the mountains. Make sure to have a GPS or a map as some signs may not be very clear.

To reach the Trascău Mountains using public transport, start by taking a bus from Cluj-Napoca to Campeni. From the Campeni bus station, you can either take a taxi or a local minibus to Bistra. Once in Bistra, ask the locals for directions to the Trascău Mountains; they are quite popular and most people will know how to get there. Alternatively, there may be organized tours available that can take you directly into the mountains.

If coming from Alba Iulia, take DN74 towards Câmpeni. After about 40 km, you will reach the junction with DN75. Turn left onto DN75 and continue for about 12 km. Then, take the DJ107M towards Bistra. Following this road will take you directly into the Trascău Mountains area. Look for parking areas near the hiking trails.
