If you're driving from Baia Mare, start by heading southeast on DN1C towards Sighetu Marmației. Continue on DN1C for approximately 48 kilometers. As you approach Sighetu Marmației, keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Săpânța. Turn left onto DJ186 and follow the signs for Săpânța. After about 10 kilometers, you will arrive at Peri-Săpânța Monastery, which will be on your right.

To reach Peri-Săpânța Monastery using public transport, take a bus from Baia Mare to Sighetu Marmației. Buses run frequently from Baia Mare's central bus station and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Sighetu Marmației bus station, look for a local bus or taxi that goes to Săpânța. The ride should take around 20 minutes. Inform the driver or taxi driver that you are heading to Peri-Săpânța Monastery, and they will drop you off close to the entrance.
