Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Banat, take the A1 motorway towards Bucharest. After approximately 200 km, take the exit toward DN1. Continue on DN1 for about 10 km until you reach Bucharest. As you enter the city, follow the signs for 'Centru'. Once in the city center, navigate to George Enescu Street. The hotel is located at 15 17 17A, George Enescu Street, București 010302. Parking may be available nearby, but be aware of potential parking fees.

• Train

  To reach Mercure Bucharest City Center by train, board a train from Timișoara or another city in Banat heading to Bucharest. The main train station in Bucharest is Gara de Nord. Once you arrive, take the Metro Line M1 (the blue line) from Gara de Nord station to Piața Victoriei station. From Piața Victoriei, switch to Metro Line M2 (the red line) and travel to Universitate station. Exit the metro and walk approximately 1 km down George Enescu Street to reach the hotel. Be sure to purchase your metro ticket before boarding, which costs around 3 lei.

• Bus

  If you prefer to travel by bus, you can take a long-distance bus from various cities in Banat to Bucharest. Buses typically arrive at the Autogara Filaret station. From there, you can take bus number 783 directly to Piața Universității. Once you arrive at Piața Universității, it’s a 10-minute walk to the hotel. Walk along George Enescu Street until you reach the address 15 17 17A. Make sure to check the bus schedule and buy your ticket before boarding; tickets usually cost around 30-50 lei depending on the distance.
