Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the city center of Timișoara. Head southeast on Bulevardul Regele Ferdinand towards Bulevardul Take Ionescu. Continue straight onto Bulevardul Iuliu Maniu, then follow signs for DN6/E70 towards Lugoj. After approximately 5 km, take the exit towards Timișoara. Merge onto Calea Șagului and continue straight for about 3 km. You'll see signs for Muzeul Satului. The museum is located in the southern part of the city, near the Bega River. There is parking available on-site, but be mindful of any parking fees that might apply.
Public Transportation
To reach Muzeul Satului via public transportation from Timișoara, head to the main bus station (Autogara Timișoara). Look for buses heading towards the southern neighborhoods or specifically to Calea Șagului. Make sure to check the bus schedules as they can vary. The journey will take about 30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the nearest bus stop, you may need to walk for about 10-15 minutes to reach the museum.
