Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the city of Constanța. Take the DN39 road heading south towards Mangalia. This scenic route runs along the coast and offers beautiful views of the Black Sea. The drive takes approximately 45 minutes, covering a distance of around 40 kilometers. Upon reaching Mangalia, follow the signs to the beach area. Parking is available nearby, but be prepared for possible fees depending on the season.
Train
For those using public transportation, take a train from Constanța to Mangalia. Trains run frequently throughout the day, and the journey takes about 40 minutes. Arrive at the Constanța train station and purchase a ticket to Mangalia. Once you arrive at the Mangalia train station, the beach is about a 15-minute walk. Simply head south on Strada 1 Mai, then turn left onto Strada Constanței, which leads directly to the beach area.
Bus
Another option is to take a bus from Constanța to Mangalia. Buses depart regularly from the Constanța bus station, and the ride takes approximately 50 minutes. Buy a ticket from the bus station before boarding. The bus will drop you off at the Mangalia bus station, from where the beach is around a 10-minute walk. Walk south on Strada 1 Mai, then turn left onto Strada Constanței to reach the beach.
Taxi or Rideshare
If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi or a rideshare service from your location in the Black Sea Coast to Mangalia Beach. This option is convenient but can be more expensive, especially during peak tourist season. Make sure to agree on a fare before starting your trip or use an app to get an accurate estimate. The ride should take around 40-50 minutes, depending on traffic.
