From Brașov, head southwest on Strada 13 Decembrie towards Bulevardul Gării. Continue straight onto DN1/E68 and follow the signs for Râșnov. After about 15 km, take the exit toward Râșnov and follow the signs to the Cetatea Râșnov. There is a parking lot available near the citadel, and parking fees may apply.

From Brașov, go to the main train station (Gara Brașov). Take a train towards Râșnov, which runs frequently throughout the day. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Râșnov train station, you can either walk (about 30 minutes uphill) or take a local taxi to the citadel. Taxis are readily available outside the train station. The taxi ride will take approximately 10 minutes and may cost around 20-30 RON.

You can also take a bus from Brașov to Râșnov. Buses leave from the central bus station (Autogara Brașov) and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once in Râșnov, you can either walk up to the citadel (approximately 30-40 minutes) or take a short taxi ride. Bus tickets typically cost around 5-10 RON.
