Getting There

  • Public Transport

    Start your journey at the Brașov train station (Gara Brașov). From there, take bus number 20 or 21 from the bus stop located just outside the train station. Get off at the 'Poiana Brașov' stop. This journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Poiana Brașov, follow the main road uphill towards the ski area.

  • Walking

    After you get off the bus at Poiana Brașov, walk towards the 'Cabana Postăvaru.' Continue straight on the main path for about 1.5 km, following the signs for Peștera de Lapte. You will reach a fork in the path; take the left path and follow it for about 10 minutes. The cave will be on your right. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the trail can be uneven.

  • Hiking

    For a more adventurous route, from Poiana Brașov, take the marked hiking trail that leads from the area near the cable car station. Follow the yellow trail markers, which will take you through the forest and up the hill. This hike will take approximately 1 hour and is about 2 km. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Peștera de Lapte. The cave entrance will be clearly marked as you approach.
