If you are driving, start from the city center of Brașov, near the Black Church (Biserica Neagră). Head southeast on Strada Mureșenilor towards Bulevardul Eroilor. Continue on Bulevardul Eroilor until you reach the intersection with Strada Gheorghe Barițiu. Turn left onto Strada Gheorghe Barițiu and follow it for about 500 meters. You will see signs for Turnul Negru indicating a left turn. The parking area is limited, so you may need to find street parking nearby, which is usually free on weekends.

Public Transportation

To reach Turnul Negru using public transport, start by heading to the nearest bus station in the city center, such as the one near the Black Church. You can take bus line 20 or 36 towards 'Poiana Brașov.' Get off at the 'Strada Gheorghe Barițiu' stop. From there, walk about 10 minutes down Strada Gheorghe Barițiu until you reach the signs for Turnul Negru. The fare for the bus is approximately 2.5 RON (about 0.5 USD), and tickets can be purchased at kiosks or via the mobile app.

If you prefer to walk from the city center, head towards the Black Church (Biserica Neagră) and take Strada Mureșenilor heading southeast.
