If you're traveling by car, start from the town of Câmpulung Moldovenesc, which is about 30 km away from Piatra Șoimului. Take DN17 towards Vatra Dornei for approximately 15 km, then turn left onto DJ175. Follow DJ175 for about 10 km until you reach the village of Bistra. From Bistra, continue on the same road for another 5 km, where you will see signposts leading you to Piatra Șoimului. There is parking available near the trailhead.

To reach Piatra Șoimului via public transportation, start from Suceava. Take a bus from Suceava to Câmpulung Moldovenesc (the journey takes about 1 hour and costs around 15 RON). Once in Câmpulung Moldovenesc, you can take a local taxi to the trailhead of Piatra Șoimului, which is approximately 15 km away. Expect to pay around 30-40 RON for the taxi ride. Alternatively, you may find local shared vans that can take you closer to the destination.

Once you arrive at the trailhead near Piatra Șoimului, prepare for a short hike to reach the summit. The hike is about 2 km and should take approximately 30 minutes.
