Car

From Buzău, take DN10 towards Brașov. After approximately 20 km, turn right onto DJ203K towards Bozioru. Follow this road for about 15 km until you reach the village of Bozioru. Continue straight until you see signs for the Bozioru Cave Dwellings, which are located just outside the village. Parking may be available nearby, but be mindful of local regulations.

Public Transportation

Start from Buzău city center and take a local bus to Nehoiu. You can catch the bus from the Buzău bus station; the ticket costs around 10 RON. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Once in Nehoiu, transfer to a local minibus heading to Bozioru (be sure to check the schedule as they may not be frequent). The fare for the minibus is approximately 5 RON and it takes about 30 minutes to reach Bozioru. After arriving in Bozioru, follow local signs to the Cave Dwellings, which are a short walk from the village center.

Taxi

If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from Buzău to Bozioru. This option is more costly, typically ranging from 80 to 120 RON, depending on the taxi company. The drive will take about 30 minutes. Ensure you agree on the fare beforehand or use a ride-hailing app to avoid any confusion.
