If you are driving, start from downtown Buzău. Head northeast on Strada Cuza Vodă towards Strada 1 Decembrie. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer, then turn left onto DN2E, following the signs for Haleș. Stay on this road for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the signs for Ciolanu Monastery. Turn left onto DJ203G and follow the road for about 1.5 kilometers. The monastery will be on your right.
Public Transportation
To reach Ciolanu Monastery via public transport, start at Buzău Central Bus Station. Look for a bus heading to Haleș; these buses run frequently. The journey should take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Haleș, get off at the last stop. From there, you can either walk or take a taxi. If walking, head southeast on DJ203G for about 1.5 kilometers, and you will find the monastery on your right.
