Getting There

    From Călărași, head southwest on DN3B towards the border with Bulgaria. Continue on DN3B for about 40 kilometers until you reach the town of Oltenita. From Oltenita, take the road towards the border crossing at Giurgiu. After crossing the border into Bulgaria, follow the signs for Srebarna. The wildlife refuge is approximately 30 kilometers from the border. Make sure to have your passport ready for border control, and be aware that there may be a small fee for crossing.
