From the parking area, you will need to hike approximately 1.5 km to reach La Scaune. The hiking trail is well-marked, and you will enjoy beautiful scenery along the way.

Public Transport

If you prefer public transport, take a bus to Ceahlău village from nearby cities such as Piatra Neamț or Târgu Neamț. Buses depart regularly, but it's advisable to check the schedules in advance. Once you arrive in Ceahlău village, you can either walk (about 2 km) or take a taxi to the parking area at the entrance of Ceahlău National Park. From there, follow the marked hiking trail to La Scaune, which is approximately 1.5 km away.

Hiking

Whether you arrive by car or public transport, the last part to La Scaune involves a hike. The trail is moderate in difficulty, and you should allow about 30 to 45 minutes to reach La Scaune.
