If you are starting from the Cluj-Napoca city center (e.g., from the Central Park or the National Theatre), head towards the main square, Piața Unirii. Walk south on Bulevardul Eroilor, then turn left onto Strada Universității. Continue straight until you reach Piața Unirii. The Matthias Rex Monument is located in the center of this square, easily recognizable by its impressive statue.

From the Cluj-Napoca train station (Gara Cluj-Napoca), you can take bus number 24 or 30. Board the bus at the station and travel towards the city center. Get off at the 'Piața Unirii' stop, which is right by the square. The Matthias Rex Monument is located in the square, just a short walk from the bus stop.

If you are near the Botanical Garden, exit the garden and turn right onto Bulevardul Iuliu Maniu. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Calea Moților. Cross the road and continue straight onto Strada Memorandumului. Follow this road until you reach the main square, Piața Unirii. The monument will be in the center of the square.
