If you are driving from the center of Covasna, start by heading northeast on Strada Mihai Viteazul towards Strada Gării. Continue on Strada Gării until you reach DJ121. Turn left onto DJ121 and follow the road for about 12 km. You will pass by several small villages along the way. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating Cheia. As you approach Cheia, turn right onto Cheia Street. The Cheia Monastery will be located on your left at the address Cheia 107356. There is parking available near the monastery.

To reach Cheia Monastery using public transportation, you can take a local bus from Covasna. Head to the Covasna bus station, which is centrally located. Look for buses heading towards Cheia or Târgu Secuiesc. The bus ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Cheia, disembark at the nearest stop and walk towards Cheia Monastery, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions if needed.
