Car
If you are driving, start from the city of Oradea, which is a major urban center in Crișana. Head south on DN76 towards Beiuș. Continue on DN76 for about 30 kilometers until you reach a junction near the town of Beiuș. Here, take the left turn onto DJ764 towards the village of Zgurăşti. Follow DJ764 for approximately 9 kilometers, and you will find Zgurăşti Cave on your right. There is limited parking available near the cave entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach Zgurăşti Cave using public transport, take a train from Oradea to Beiuș. The train journey typically takes around 30 minutes. Once in Beiuș, you need to take a local bus or taxi to reach Zgurăşti. Local buses may not run frequently, so it’s advisable to check the schedule in advance. The bus will take you along DJ764 towards Zgurăşti; however, it is recommended to confirm the drop-off point with the driver or opt for a taxi for a more direct route. Expect to pay around 10-20 RON for the bus or taxi fare.
