Getting There

Walking
Start at the central square of Deva (Piața Victoriei). Head south on Bulevardul 1 Decembrie 1918 towards the intersection with Strada Mihai Eminescu. Turn right onto Strada Mihai Eminescu and continue until you reach the end of the street. You will see a small park on your left, called Parcul Cetății. Walk through the park, passing by the Deva Fortress entrance. From there, follow the signs leading towards Pădurea Căprioara. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes and will provide beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.

From the central square of Deva, walk to the nearest bus stop (located on Bulevardul 1 Decembrie 1918). Take bus number 1 towards the direction of Gura Zlata. After about 15 minutes, get off at the stop named 'Căprioara'. From the bus stop, follow the signs that point towards Pădurea Căprioara. You will need to walk for about 10-15 minutes to reach the entrance of the hiking area.
